| This is how IBDR and PSP works for you! Independent Breeders Dog Registry: A lot of registry puppy papers are never sent back to the registries for permanent registry on purebred dogs/pups. Papers are lost, etc. This is why we started IBDR. We give those little purebred dogs/pups a chance to be recognized again as registered dogs. If your dogs are already registered…go ahead and register your dogs with us and they are dual registered. This does not effect your other papers. Also, since most people that call you already have unregistered dogs…when they ask about buying a pup from you…offer to help them register their dogs they already have. This will increase your puppy sales, I promise. Cost is another reason a lot of people are registering with us. We only charge $10 a dog…$1 per puppy to register a litter. We are a dog registry…not a club or association. We do not come on your property…make demands for DNA or demand that your dogs have chips for identification. This is why we are called “Independent Breeders Dog Registry”. We don’t feel like we own you and your dogs! Puppy Sales Promos Website: PSP was designed as a website for IBDR breeders to sell their pups. When you register your dogs with us…we build you an ad on the website under your state. This space is yours from now on! We put your name, kennel name, city, state, phone #, email, a link to your website, pictures of your dogs, etc, on your ad. Every time you have a litter of pups…we post them on your site for free. Other: Every time you register a litter of pups with us…we send you 50 IBDR-PSP business cards with your name and phone # as local breeder. With you and other breeders passing out these cards…a lot of people will see your pups nation wide. We also advertise for the websites! Fill out the PSP work sheet and we will make you a Kennel Flyer/brochure for your kennel. Since we have been breeders ourselves for years…everything we did to raise dogs and to sell dogs is in writing. This is yours for the asking. |

SUCCESSFUL BREEDING http://ibdr.org http://puppysalespromos.com For the APBT and some other breeds! 1. Purchase the right dogs for breeding. 2/3rds of your dogs size, health, and attitude is genetic. 1/3 is the care they receive. 2. Be sure your pup has at least 3 7-1 shots. Be sure the pup was wormed at or around 2 weeks and every 10 days , every 2 weeks until 3 months old…then once a month. 3. Cut ears at 12 weeks (optional) and give rabies shot at 4 months. 4. Our average female comes in heat at around 13 months. Most time a female spills her water day after day while coming in. Her heat cycle is 7 days coming in (bleeding and swelling)…7 days in (this is when you breed her),,,7 days going out. A virgin female we only let stick 2 times for 6-8 puppies. After the first litter we let them stick 3-4 times to give us 10 -13 puppies. Your male should be at least 7-8 months old to use for stud. 5. Delivering pups; We bring our female in at 60 days. Our average female delivers at about 65 days. Most time the female refuses to eat the day of delivery. She will begin digging in her bedding in her whelping box…her water will break then in a little while you should see the first puppy. Keep the puppies box at around 80 degrees so that the pups temperature can stay at or above 98 degrees so the pups don’t get puppy herpes. If the puppies temperature is too hot or too cold they will be restless and cry. Use a small fan or heat bulb to regulate their heat and air. 6. Most females won’t eat much for a day or two after giving birth. So they will eat some we give them something special to eat (we cook for our dogs and feed table scraps). The day after giving birth we give our den mother a 7-1 shot and worm her. 7. At 2 weeks we worm our pups and the mother…worm them every 10 days. At about 5 weeks we give our pups their first 7-1 shot then every 2 week until the pups have had 3-4 shots. We worm every 10 days then every 2 weeks then to once a month. 8. Keep the pups and mother clean and flea free. Fleas cause hook worms that can kill your pups. Bath pups and mother with dawn dish soap for fleas and ticks. Don’t use chemicals til pups are 12 weeks old. 9. We cook chicken, mac and cheese for our dogs and pups. (protein and calcium). We do feed can and dry food but we cook daily for our dogs. We start feeding our pups at or about 3 weeks. Call us about breeding for blue colors… (580) 847-9277 10. Be sure change the dogs water at least every other day. Water left 4 days has mosquito larva in it…when a dog drinks this water they get heart worms. Don’t leave stale water around for mosquitoes to hatch in it. Bleach water buckets occasionally.
